MY REVIEW:

This book is the third book in this series and its about Olive the third sister. After reading the first two books I was so ready for this one. Check out my review for Not The Witch You Wed and Not Your Ex’s Hexes.

So far these books have been amazing I loved the first two books and couldn’t wait to read this one. I could feel the tension growing between these two from the first book I was so ready!

Olive is the smartest of the triplets and is super into research and learning. She lives a very predictable lifestyle and always have. Her sisters are completely opposite of her and love causing chaos so she’s resigned herself to being the calm triplet.

But now she’s becoming tired of being the boring triplet and not living life to the fullest. So she decides to do the assignment she gives her class herself. She needs to step out of her comfort zone and what better way to do it?

While doing all of this she is now living with her long time crush and finds it hard to be around him but she has no other choice at this point.

Bax heard Olive needed a place to stay and he offered up his home right away, even though he’s been crushing hard on Olive for all the time that he’s known her he can’t leave her in the situation that she’s currently in.

“It’s my pleasure, angel.” His arms followed, holding her cold cheek against his chest. “I’m at your service, forever and always.”

Bax is a guardian angel doesn’t love his job as a guardian angel but thinks he has no choice because of his family, there have been generations of Donovan’s that have been guardians. Warrior guardians at that and his dad already thinks he’s a failure because he couldn’t become a warrior.

Now Bax is tasked with being Olive’s guardian and has to keep her out of trouble while not stifling her. He wants her to do what she wants but keep her safe so he has to stick to her side.

While Bax and Olive start to take on the items on the docket list they start to get closer and closer and you can feel the chemistry between the two.

“Yes, being your Guardian gave me the opportunity to be close to you. It gave me the chance to dance with you and make snow angels in the park. All the things we did together that I will remember for the rest of my life. But you’re the reason I did it.”

And then one day things get intense and it’s everything I wanted it to be. For being an angel he sure does have a filthy mouth. Let just say things get hot between the Angel and the Witch.

I absolutely loved every minute of this book and all the heat between Olive and Bax, this was a slow burn but there were moments in this book when I thought there was going to be more action but it was definitely a tease. Which only made the build up even better.

And the relationship with her sisters and Harper was the best! Friends that are always there no matter what, by her side helping when she needs it the most. I loved how they all pitched in to help her complete her list. True friends!

I also loved to see how Olive’s friends was with Harper was, not only did she have her sisters and their mates but Harper was always there for her.

This book was everything I wanted and more. I hope there is another book for Harper’s story because she’s such an important part of all these books we need her story.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

April Asher, aka April Hunt, was hooked on romantic stories from the time she first snuck a bodice-ripper romance out from her mom’s bedside table. She now lives out her own happily-ever-after with her college-sweetheart husband, their two children, and a cat who thinks she’s more dog—and human—than feline. By day, April dons dark blue nursing scrubs and drinks way too much caffeine. By night, she still consumes too much caffeine, but she does it with a laptop in hand, and from her favorite side of the couch.

From the far left cushion, April Asher pens laugh-out-loud romantic comedies with a paranormal twist, but when she’s not putting her characters into embarrassing situations with supernatural entities, she also writes high-octane romantic suspense as April Hunt, her thrill-seeking alter ego.
