MY REVIEW:

I’ve been waiting for this book for a really long time or at least it felt like that since the last one. I needed my fix from Starlight Cove and the next McKenzie brother. Each book that I’ve read in this series so far I’ve absolutely loved!

Aiden has been the most grumpy brother thus far and that’s saying a lot especially after reading Beck’s book. He was an extreme grump. Aiden’s been grumpy in all the books and we don’t really know much about him besides he helps Addison run the hotel.

Now this is a stand alone and can definitely be read as one but I think the best way to read this series is in order.

So I was really excited to finally be finding out about Aiden and who would take him down. And guess what we find out about our Aiden, he’s an author. This just blew my mind because I would not think stuffy Aiden would be an author that writes sexy scenes in his novels.

Avery is only in town for a little and stopping by to see her best friend. And of course she bumped in to Aiden and they have an amazing night together and he opens up to her in a way he hasn’t to anyone in forever.

Then Avery has to stay longer than expected and now her and Aiden are working together and guess what he’s her boss.

This is where is starts to get really interesting, Aiden and Avery are trying to avoid each other meanwhile Addison (Aiden’s sister) is trying to put them together at every turn.

What’s not to love with a meddling sister and chemistry that’s off the charts? I absolutely loved going back to Starlight Cove and finding out about the rest of the McKenzie’s.

This book did not disappoint Aiden was everything I didn’t know I wanted him to be. He was an author that writes romance and is all about his partner. I loved everything about Aiden.

Avery was so sassy. I loved that she just said what was on her mind and didn’t let anyone or anything stop her. She was the perfect match for Aiden.

“Because I don’t want to spend another night out of your bed. I don’t want another morning where I wake up without your face being the first thing I see or another night where your lips aren’t the last thing I taste. And I don’t want to think for another second what this life would be like without you. So let’s not do that, okay?”

She was able to tone down his grump and make him laugh. They were so perfect for each other. And Aiden was supportive and the perfect partner for Avery. He didn’t want to hold her back from her dreams.

This book was so well written. And I loved every moment of this book and didn’t want it to end. And with the end of each book comes the teasing of a new book and another book that I cannot wait to read.
