MY REVIEW:

I really liked how this book started with a bit of angst and misunderstanding. There was some push and pull between the characters and it pulled me in, but that was about it for me.

After that the book got really cheesy really fast, this was super insta-love with the characters falling almost immediately. And somethings were just not believable to me.

Like Autumn is super guarded in some instances but then not at all at other times. Her back and forth was giving me a bit of a headache. Also how she immediately started learning sign language, it just seemed more forced than a natural flow of events.

It also really upset me when she couldn’t block her cheating ex and even started to listen to some of the things he was texting her. Like girl he cheated on you and wants you back why are you listening to anything he says? Or letting him get to you.

She did seem a bit immature. And I know she was younger so that makes sense but she just didn’t seem to match Zac with the maturity so it didn’t feel like a good fit for me.

And the banter between her and Zac was just too much for me. It took me a longer time to finish this book than usually and it just didn’t interest me as much to keep reading.

And the in and out on the east coast just threw me all the way off I had to look it up like is there an in and out on the east coast and there wasn’t one so that makes it a whole lot more unbelievable.

Zac was great but at times seemed too perfect, he was sweet caring and doted on his little girl completely. I absolutely loved the relationship he had with his daughter and how he protected her especially from the media.

Ugh and Ivy’s mom was a real piece of work, I could have done without her.

I did loved certain parts like Ivy and Zac’s family, especially pappy he was a sweet talker. And very smooth with it.

The family dynamic was awesome, how they all care about each other and have each others backs. And help each other. I really liked this.

This one was just a miss for me. But if your into insta-love then this is the one for you.
