MY REVIEW:

Bull is another brother that was rescued from the foster home by Mako in this series. And he’s the friendliest of the brothers. He owns a bar & restaurant in Rescue, and has a few more in Alaska.

Bull, like the other brothers was also in foster care and was rescued by Mako. And if you’ve been reading the series you know a bit about him. He’s served like the rest and has the trauma to go with it.

He’s also tried his hand at love and relationships a few times and they haven’t worked out. So he’s very dedicated to reviving Rescue and helping his family.

Like all of Mako’s foster kids he’s helpful, which is something that makes the brothers choose him to handle all the business dealings. And well he owns a few businesses.

Bull is friendly, strong and reliable. He’s also amazing with Regan. If you haven’t read the other books in this series, Regan is Caz’s daughter from the previous book.

Frankie is a New York girl and has never been out in the wilderness so Rescue Alaska is a shock to her to say the least. It doesn’t matter though she has to find a way to safe her BFF and son.

Frankie needs to do whatever it takes to help her friend from the militia group that is the Patriot Zealots. But she needs to gather intel and figure out just how to do that in a place she’s never been before.

As Frankie starts to gather information she also starts to hone her skills by learning everything that can help her get her friend free.

One of the things she needs to do is talk to the people of the town and what better way to do that than to become a server at the local bar & restaurant? She starts to become friendly with the people of the town which helps her.

Frankie has the wrong impression of Bull and assumes the worst because of it. But that is soon fixed and Frankie and Bull start to get to know each other.

These two are good match for each other based on what they need. But Frankie doesn’t want to involve Bull or his family in what she needs to do, because it may not be safe for them.

She sees what living on the hermitage is like and she starts to understand the dynamic with the family. Can I just say I love how everyone in the hermitage helps out and does their part to help? No one is lazy or doesn’t want to do anything.

“Love should flow like the Mississippi to the Gulf, not turn off and on like a faulty faucet.”

Frankie helps Bull when he doesn’t even realize that he needs help, and it’s great to see someone stepping up for Bull.

She also starts to establish friendships with the other women in the hermitage, which are Audrey and JJ. I absolutely love their relationship.

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

Yes!! You have to read this book and the ones that came before it! It’s an absolute must read!

I love watching Frankie navigate the town and learn all the necessary skills to save her friend. Frankie is so brave, ready to take on the world for her friend and her friends son.

I absolutely love how she valued her friendship and wanted to help in anyway possible.

And Bull is such a sweetheart, I really liked watching him fall for Frankie and seeing them connect with one another.

Also his need to help her was so sweet, he didn’t know what was going on but he knew he wanted to help her.

The more I get from the Hermitage the more I want! Loved reading each and every one of these stories and getting to know the town and the characters.
