MY REVIEW:

I was so mad that Trent was exiled especially since Nemcox a.k.a. Stewart a.k.a. Matthew did so many things to deserve his fate.

There was no other way especially if Kelsey was going to be able to protect Lee. Trent shouldn’t have had to pay the price but I guess it was better than being sentenced to death.

So Kelsey is looking for anyway she can find to get Trent out of exile but has had no luck so far. And Trent’s the only one that can calm her.

“You need to understand that I can take you. If I can take you, then I can also handle your shit. I can handle every inch of you. I want every inch of you. Even this crazed she-wolf killer inside. I f**king love her, too.”

Gray doesn’t really want Trent around especially because Nemcox was his brother. I was annoyed with Gray a bit because even though Nemcox was his brother he wasn’t a good brother.

And he did many things to Gray that should have ended the relationship a long time ago. But Gray kept the relationship open and got mad at Trent.

So finally Gray’s father comes to Kelsey with a deal if she can solve the mystery of all the bodies pilling up then Trent can come out of exile. Sounds too easy right?

Of course it is and things of course take a turn and Kelsey uncovers something completely different from what she thought she would.

Trent and Gray’s incessant fighting started to get really annoying after a while. It was mostly Gray instigating the fights.

Everything goes left as per usual and we start to realize that not everything is as it appears to be. Some new characters are picked up on the way which I really enjoyed.

And thank goodness for those characters because they happened to help save the day.

After all of this Kelsey is really becoming one with her wolf and herself. She is becoming more comfortable and letting her instincts guide her for the most part. I really enjoyed seeing her become who she is in this book. And finally accepting herself.

“All of my life I’d thought of myself as a freak, but it is okay to be a freak. It’s okay to be weird and to not fit in. It’s all right to be the oddball. What’s not okay is to take a child and tell her she’s unlovable, that she’s a mistake.”

Another rollercoaster ride of emotions and I loved every minute of it.

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

Definitely! I don’t know how Ms. Blake does it but she always comes up with an inventive new story. And every time the story has my full attention.

This book was no different, it was everything I wanted and more. I absolutely love this series.

Even though at some points I get mad and want to throw my kindle. Or just need to put it down for a minute to compose myself, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Now I am interested in seeing what’s in the next book and about these prophesies. They have been giving us them since book two and I am still confused.
