MY REVIEW:

I’m not going to lie every time I get another installment in this series I am soooo happy! This series just continues to amaze me and not just the Hunter series but the one that came before. The thieves series.

I love that we get a glimpse of all the previous characters that I loved!

Addict takes place a few months after the last book. Kelsey is a new woman and has learned to control her baser instincts. She comes back from Italy with Marcus and is immediately pulled back into the mess.

Kelsey is still hurting and missing Gray even though he betrayed her. She’s with Marcus now but can’t seem to stay away from Gray.

“As long as you are alive, there is hope. Full stop. No arguments or questions. Sometimes hope is all we have but until the deed is done, it’s a gift given to each one of us.”

She had a lot of pieces to pick up when she came back to the states. And she starts to put her life back together.

“Sometimes the worst pain is made better by simply accepting it, riding it, and knowing it has some purpose.”

Kelsey is amazing at getting herself in trouble. People from the past start to pop back up and Kelsey doesn’t know the relationships or what happened before but when she does everything goes crazy.

Kelsey is finally learning who she is and what she is, she is also getting better at handling everything that’s thrown her with and not losing it. This was really good to see especially from the Kelsey we saw in book one.

“I am the sum of the people who love me, who I love. The alpha and omega of my soul rests with who and how I’ve loved. Yes, it is weakness, but there is no strength that isn’t balanced by weakness.”

I was absolutely not expecting anything that happened in this book and I think that’s why I continue to love this series. It definitely takes you on a ride that you’ll never expect.

This took me on a wild ride and I loved every minute of it! I love the relationships Kelsey starts to have with some of the characters and how she is coming to terms with everything that happened in the first book.

It definitely gave me some new enemies to dislike.

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

Yes! This is an amazing installment to this series. The series just keeps getting better and better.

This book will take you through all of your emotions. You’ll want to laugh, cry, throw your kindle, get mad and be happy.

I love Kelsey’s story but I love that we see the other characters and what happens with them.

Just like the series before this books makes you love all the characters and what to see what’s going on in each of their lives.

I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
